Known as the 1st Issue Phra Sangkachai cast image to distributed from Susarn Thai Lart, Lampang.

It was blessed by both Luang Por Kasem and Luang Pu Doo of Wat Sakae, Ayutthaya. Luang Pu Doo was a highly respected monk from the Ayutthaya Province and has learnt from many top tiered masters in Dharma. He was said to be a lecturer to many novices during their pilgrimages into the forests of Thailand.

Phra Sangkachai is known as Kātyāyana or Mahākātyāyana and was one of the TEN principal disciples of Lord Buddha himself.
According to history and ancient texts, Buddha praised Phra Sangkachai for his excellence in explaining sophisticated concepts of the Dharma in an easily and correctly understandable manner. Phra Sangkachai is also known for composing the Madhupindika Sutta.

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies. 

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To find one piece as this item featured here, in such an immaculate condition, is of incomprehensible difficulty. Noticed the perfect texture found on the surface? It is a typical example of sheer luck with the right amount of molten gold being filled in the cast thus preventing bubbles from forming on the surface of the amulet!

Extremely collectible and an excellent choice for daily wear! Priced very accessibly despite its very high collectors value!

The condition of the amulet is beyond conventional excellence! Very beautifully casted despite being made nearly 40 years ago! We can confidently grade this particular piece to be near flawless with all important features beautifully casted!
