Luang Por Tae is a holy monk that needs no formal introduction. Being one of the most well known and well recognized holy monk, not just in his local province of Nakhon Pathom, but all over Thailand and beyond.

This beautiful piece is known as the “Roon Sang Mondop” Batch. It was made with the intention to raise funds for the construction of the “Mondop” in Wat Sam Ngam, Nakhon Pathom. The “Mondop” is also known as the “Mandapa” and it is a pillared hall or pavilion for public ceremonies or rituals.

This featured piece is made of silver.. One of the most sought after variants in the batch!

The condition of the amulet is spectacular!

To understand how beautiful it is.. We must know that amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies. 

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To come across a piece that is FULLY CASTED with little to no flaws is an incredibly difficult occurrence!
