This featured cast image of Luang Por Kasem is among one of the rarest to be ever made in SOLID GOLD!
Only 19 pieces of such specimens were made! It was made in commemoration of Luang Por Kasem’s 72nd Year Old Birthday, also known as “Roon Hok Rob”.
The word “Hok Rob” translates to 6th Cycle and one Cycle represents 12 years, hence the name.
It is known to be the ONE OF THE TOP TIERED CAST IMAGE amulets to be made by Luang Por Kasem. It is only second to the Year 2518 B.E. SOLID GOLD 1st Issue Cast Image which has also 19 pieces made. Market value of the Year 2518 B.E. SOLID GOLD 1st Issue Cast Image is in the ballpark of more than 2,000,000 Baht (approximately SGD$90,000) and it is a staggering amount.
This particular piece, being the 2nd TOP TIERED variant, in my personal opinion, is highly undervalued as it is priced at less than a fraction of the above mentioned piece!
With only 19 pieces made in the world, words cannot properly articulate how incredibly difficult it is to chance upon a piece, let alone a piece that is in such amazing condition! The condition of this piece is nothing short of amazing despite being a cast image made with primitive methods. All important features are highly distinctive and the texture immaculately preserved!
To come across a piece that is FULLY CASTED with little to no flaws is an incredibly difficult occurrence!
