What is featured here today is no ordinary amulet by Luang Pu Tim.. It is known as Phra Pidta “Poom Pui” from the Chinbanchon Batch. It is also known and recognized in the industry as the NUMBER 1 Phra Pidta by Luang Pu Tim Wat Lahan Rai!

For the uninitiated, the “Chinbanchon Batch” is a batch of amulets made in Year 2517 B.E. (1974 A.D.) and it is known as Luang Pu Tim’s TOP TIERED batch of amulets made.

There were a total of 4 variants that made up the batch:

1. Phra Kring
2. Phra Chai Wat
3. Phra Pidta “Poom Pui”
4. Phra Sangkachai

It is known as the TOP 4 amulets by Luang Pu Tim and they are extremely sought after by collectors all over the world!

Today’s featured piece is the Phra Pidta Variant known as “Phra Pidta Poom Pui”.

The term “Poom Pui” literally translates to “Chubby or Plump” referencing to how the amulet looks aesthetically.

A very interesting piece that has ONLY ONE MATERIAL VARIANT made which is NAWALOHA.

Only 1,600 pieces were made.. Making it an extremely uphill task to encounter a piece still retaining a great condition! Bear in mind, all these pieces were made more than 50 years ago and the techniques used to create the amulets were primitive, resulting in many pieces that are casted with incomplete features!

The condition of this featured piece is nothing short of spectacular! In fact, it is one of the most beautiful pieces we have encountered in a long, long time!

Flawlessly casted with complete featured and a beautifully and naturally oxidized texture!

It was award the 1ST PRIZE award in the latest and grandest competition of 2025 thus far! A testament to how TIP TOP the condition is!

Extremely, extremely collectible and not a piece that will be encountered anytime soon!
