The star feature of this piece is its amazingly, immaculately, astonishingly well preserved texture!

It’s truly a spectacular sight to behold. Beautifully oxidized with a naturally occurring patina encompassing the entire front and back surface of this medallion. 

It was made to commemorate Luang Pu Tohk’s 80th Year Old Birthday and it marks the 1st ever time whereby Luang Pu Tohk blessed a medallion bearing his own image, making it known as “Rian Roon Rek” (1st Issue Medallion by Luang Pu Tohk)!

It is known as the MOST IMPORTANT MEDALLION blessed by Luang Pu Tohk. Blessed in a Grand Ceremony in Year 2510 B.E. (1967 A.D.) and they were made into 4 different material variants:

1. GOLD – 17 pieces made in the world
2. SILVER – 120 pieces made in the world
3. NAWALOHA – 2,500 pieces made in the world
4. COPPER – 3,000 pieces made in the world

This featured piece is made of NAWALOHA and only 2,500 pieces of such pieces were ever made!

Most, if not all seasoned collectors and industry experts will know about this particular batch of medallions and it is unanimously recognized to be Luang Pu Tohk’s TOP TIERED medallion with a very, very high spiritual and collectors value!

Fragmented ancient Buddha Statues from different eras in the history of Thailand were used as one of the important elements in the creation of the NAWALOHA material. It was also documented that numerous pieces of SOLID GOLD panels with magical yantra inscriptions written by Luang Pu Tohk were used as well.
