Easily one of the most, if not the most beautiful Phra Ner Phong Kammatahn in Ner Kaesorn we have ever encountered. Most pieces have a shallow and pale yellowish colored material but to encounter a piece in such a deep vibrant brown material is an exceptional rarity and highly favored among enthusiasts.

We have to emphasize that the “multiple lines” found on the surface of the amulet are not cracks!

The “Lines” are actually multiple strands of Luang Pu Tohk’s Hair, which is also known as “Gae-Sah”, embedded on the various surfaces of the amulet.

“Gae-Sah” is a term referring to the hair that has been collected from the monk, and in this instance, Luang Pu Tohk, during the routine shaving of their hair. The many strands of hair that were collected will not be disposed of, instead they will be kept as holy belongings of a holy being. On many occasions, the “Gae-Sah” will be mixed as one of the materials used in creating an amulet.

 

A true champion condition piece that was awarded the 1st Prize Award Winner across 3 major competitions that has cemented how spectacular the condition is from the lens of a veteran and learned connoisseur.

This particular batch of amulets are one of Luang Pu Tohk’s highly sought after powder made amulet and there were a total of two material variants made:

1. NER BAILARN – Only 30 pieces made in the world
2. NER KAESORN – Only 10,750 pieces made in the world

This featured piece is made of NER KAESORN and it features the image of Lord Buddha in the “samadhi” meditating position.

In the oldest Buddhist suttas, on which several contemporary western Theravada teachers rely, “samadhi” refers to the development of an investigative and luminous mind which is equanimous and mindful.

The condition is nothing short of amazing with the material beautifully aged and the overall texture extremely well preserved with no signs of wear of damage despite being made nearly 50 years ago!
