Rian Luang Pu Thuad (Beytong Sorng Batch) – Mass Consecrated – Year 2537 B.E. – Made of SOLID GOLD (Extremely rare ; Only 699 pieces made in the world)

This particular medallion is also extremely well known to be one of the MOST PROMINENT AND POPULAR contemporary Luang Pu Thuad medallions made!

The creation of this batch of Luang Pu Thuad amulets were spearheaded by Mr. Sawasdi Chotipanich, the former President of the Supreme Court of Thailand. It was made to raise funds for the construction, renovation and restoration of two “Phra Mahathart” Stupa located in South Thailand. The Stupas are known to one of the largest in the entire South Thailand!

Her Royal Highness, the Queen of Thailand, Queen Sirikit, very kindly conferred 1,200,000 baht (approximately SGD$110,000 adjusted for inflation) to establish the fund. It was also built on occasion of His Royal Majesty, the King of Thailand, King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 50th Year of Coronation!

The medallions were designed by Thailand’s Royal Architect, Momratchawong Mitarun Kasemsi and was minted by the Royal Mint of Thailand.

Blessed in a grand ceremony that took place in Wat Chang Hai. The grand consecration ceremony was presided over by numerous top holy monks of South Thailand such as:

1. Phra Kru Withan Satharanakit – Wat Buraparam (Highest ranking holy monk of Pattani)
2. Luang Por Chuang – Wat Khuan Pantaram, Songkhla
3. Por Tarn Klan – Wat Khao Orr, Phattalung

5. Por Tarn Thep – Wat Pradu Riang, Phattalung
