Blessed in an extremely grand ceremony that took place on the 3rd of November in Year 2497 B.E. (1954 A.D.).
The batch of amulets were created for the purpose of renovating and reconstructing parts of the temple. The holy monks that were invited to participate in the ceremony are among the top tiered holy monks of the era.

A few notable holy monks were:

and many more..

This featured piece is known as the 5-7 5-7 “Wong Waen” Variant and it is the top tiered variant of the entire batch of amulets made. It is also the most collectible and the rarest among all the other available variants made. There are 6 variants made in total.

Many may be confused as to why is it called 5-7 5-7 and what does it mean. It is actually simple and straightforward.
There are two sides of the medallion and both features the image of Luang Por Sothorn.

The number 5-7 5-7 derives from the dots found on the top two segments of Luang Por Sothorn’s head on each of the side, hence the term 5-7 5-7. The other term, “Wong Waen” refers to the ring found on the chest of the image of Luang Por Sothorn on one side and this little feature here represents it to be the top tiered variant, otherwise known as “Pim Niyom” among the collectors.

The condition of the amulet is nothing short of amazing. The original texture is immaculately preserved with all important features extremely distinctive. Out of the many pieces we have seen, this piece is one of the most beautiful and original pieces we have come across.

It is difficult to properly articulate how incredibly collectible it is for this particular item.
