When the 1st Issue Cast Image of Luang Por Kasem was released in Year 2518 B.E., they were fully distributed within a single day.

This happened for a few excellent reasons:

1. The consecrated ceremony was very grand. It was blessed alongside two top tiered variants:
Phra Kring Awalow 1st Issue and Phra Pidta Sarapadee.

2. Funds were raised for a sole purpose, the construction of roads to the Shrine of Chao Mae Suchada. Also known as Lampang’s Holy Mother whom many locals pay respect to her for the merits she has made to the province during her lifetime many years ago.

3. Very exquisitely crafted. It was crafted by the top craftsman of the era and bears uncanny resemblance to Luang Por Kasem himself.

Only 2,518 pieces of such pieces were made in NAWALOHA with the insignia of the Rat, which is his most sought after variant! This variant is pronounced as Koan Noo in Thai.

For the 1st Issue Cast Image of Luang Por Kasem made in NAWALOHA, there are two variants:

1. Koan Noo (Rat Insignia) – 2,518 pieces made
2. Koan Dok Chan (Flower Insignia) – 500 pieces made

Despite having more pieces made, it is not without reason why the Koan Noo variant is the most sought after variant.
As written on earlier, the pieces were fully distributed from the temple within a single day, and many locals who came all the way looking to acquire a piece were left disappointed.

Thus, an additional 500 pieces were made, but given a different insignia was hallmarked at the bottom of the amulet to differentiate between the remade pieces and the original pieces.

Hence, the Koan Noo variant is more widely sought after which results in a much higher collector’s value!

The condition of this piece is exceptionally beautiful! One of the minority percentage of pieces to have a near flawless condition with all important details extremely well casted!
