We are pleased to present an extraordinary acquisition.. Remarkable not for its collector’s value alone, but for its sheer rarity and the exceptional state of preservation it has been kept in for more than three decades.

This specimen surfaced from the private collection of its original custodian, who safeguarded it for roughly 30 years. Astonishingly, the amulet remained sealed in a plastic wrapper and stored within its original temple box throughout this entire period. Such meticulous preservation is exceedingly uncommon in today’s market, and it speaks volumes of both provenance and respect for the sacred item.

Upon close examination, minute traces of dried botanical particles.. Almost certainly remnants of flowers used during the consecration ceremony.. Which can still be observed on the surface. These subtle details serve as eloquent testimony to the amulet’s untouched condition and the authenticity of its ritual lineage.

The piece features the iconic image of Phra Nak Prok, depicting Lord Buddha sheltered beneath the hood of Mucalinda, the King of Serpents, as He sits in serene meditation. This imagery is among the most emblematic in Buddhism, with historical representations tracing back more than two millennia, symbolizing unwavering resolve, spiritual protection, and transcendence amid adversity.

To describe this particular variant as “rare” would be insufficient. Only 300 pieces were ever produced, cast alongside prominent Phra Nak Prok worship statues for consecration by Luang Pu Tohk.. One of the most venerated figures of the era. Miniature castings of this nature are notoriously challenging to execute with integrity, especially using the primitive casting techniques of the period. Yet this example stands as a pinnacle of precision.

Most striking, however, is its condition. Among all the pieces we have encountered in our decades immersed in the trade, none approach the same degree of original preservation.  It is, in essence, a time capsule.. Unmoved and unaltered since its creation.

Extremely collectible and rarely seen on the open market, such pieces seldom surface at all, let alone in a state of preservation that could credibly be described as untouched. Across our extensive experience, fewer than five examples have crossed our path, and even then, none exhibited this level of completeness and condition.

A true gem for serious collectors and connoisseurs alike.. Authentic, historically resonant, spiritually significant, and undeniably scarce.
