This beautiful medallion is, perhaps, one of Luang Por Phrom’s most undervalued medallion.

Known as the “Roon Chalong Mondop” Batch. It was made in commemoration 88th Year Anniversary of the “Mondop” in Wat Chong Kae, Nakhon Sawan. The “Mondop” is also known as the “Mandapa” and it is a pillared hall or pavilion for public ceremonies or rituals.

Blessed in a grand ceremony presided by Luang Por Phrom that lasted a grand total of 11 days and 11 nights. 

Who is Luang Por Phrom? He is a holy monk that resides in the Nakhon Sawan Province. Most of his life is spent ordained as a member of the Sangha and doing good while cultivating.

He passed away at the age of 91. That was more than 40 years ago. His body is currently housed in a glass coffin. The remarkable thing is that there are no signs of decay. None at all. Not only that, his nails and hairs are growing little by little every year! It is a widely known fact that he has since became an Arhat (he who gained insight into the true nature of existence and has achieved Nirvana).

Only 10,500 of these medallions were ever made.

The condition is very beautiful and original with the original texture of the medallion extremely well preserved and gleaming with an extremely well preserved and naturally aged texture!

Highly recommended and priced extremely well for something of such excellence!
