Known as Phra Pidta Pang Prakan and it was mass consecrated in Year 2532 B.E. (1989 A.D.) by many holy monks from the Southern Provinces of Thailand, and most famously participated by Ajahn Khun Pan whom has learnt greatly from Wat Khao Orr (Wat Khao Aor) in the Southern Province of Phattalung.

It was created in commemoration of the establishment of the City Pillar Shrine (Sahn Lak Mueng) in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The name “Pang Prakan” is known to be a highly auspicious term. It abstractly means to negate and remove darkness or negativity in life and also the removal of various obstacles to overcome the crises of life.

It is a highly sought after piece by people intending to receive the blessings of the medallion and also by collectors worldwide due how iconic and efficacious this particular batch of medallion is known for.
