This particular batch of amulets were made for the sole purpose of raising funds for the refurbishment of Wat Cher Jaet in the Chiang Rai province of Northern Thailand.

 

There were 3 materials made:

3. NAWALOHA – 3,999 pieces made in the world

 

This beautiful cast medallion features the iconic Image of the Emerald Buddha, the Palladium of Thailand.

 

Interesting fact: Did you know that the Emerald Buddha was originated from the Lanna Kingdom located in the Northern Region of Thailand?

King Sam Fang Kaen wanted it to be in his capital, Chiang Mai, but the elephants carrying the Emerald Buddha, on several occasions insisted in proceeding to Lampang. That was taken as a divine sign and it was housed in a specially built temple known as Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao for the next few decades before moving to other parts of Thailand.

 

The back of the medallion is not any regular Yant, but rather it is the “Duang”, also known as “Life Chart/Destiny Chart” of Luang Por Kasem. It is widely believed that the “Life Chart/Destiny Chart” of holy monks can assist the bearer exponentially in the areas where assistance is needed the most by sharing the virtuous merits accumulated by the holy monks over their many lifetimes!
