Every single detail is so immaculately preserved and you have to view it to believe it!

Known as “Rian Narm Tao” which translates to “bottle-gourd” which is a reference to the shape of the medallion. This particular batch of medallions were made in Year 2505 B.E. (1962 A.D.) and this is what makes it very special and important.

Veteran collectors will know that the “Year 2505” is synonymous with Luang Pu Thuad amulets as TWO OF THE MOST ICONIC Luang Pu Thuad amulets: “Lang Tao Reet” and “Lang Nang Sie” were blessed by Ajahn Tim of Wat Chang Hai in that year.. And this particular batch of medallions were blessed alongside THE TWO TOP BATCHES in the exact same ceremony.

There were two variants made:

1. Pim Nah Kae (Old Features Variant)
2. Pim Nah Noom (Young Features Variant)

This piece showcased today is the TOP TIERED and  RAREST “Pim Nah Kae” (Old Features) variant!

The writing at the back is the “katha” (sacred holy prayer) of Luang Pu Thuad:

“Na Mo Poh Ti Sa To, A Kahn Ti Ma Ya, Yi It Pa Ka Wa”

Luang Pu Thuad himself and his amulets are synonymous to the Thai amulet industry. Even individuals whom are not interested in amulets have a high chance of hearing the name Luang Pu Thuad in their lives before!

This signifies the immense fame and reputation of the Legendary monk whom lived more than 400 years ago!
