CHAMPION AND TIP TOP CONDITION!
ONE OF LUANG POR PHROM’S TOP TIERED MEDALLIONS!
ONLY 1,500 PIECES MADE IN THE WORLD!

This medallion the ORIGINAL “RIAN JEK TARN” in the entire Thai Amulet Industry!

Due to how prominent Luang Por Phrom was and how iconic the design of this medallion was made, many subsequent medallions followed the shape and design of this medallion and named them “Rian Jek Tarn” as well!

EASILY ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECES WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!

Blessed by Luang Por Phrom in Year 2515 B.E. (1972 A.D.). This ICONIC batch of medallions were known as Rian “Jek Tarn” which literally translates to “Given For Free” as the medallions were made to distribute out, free of charge, to devotees who visits Luang Por Phrom more than 50 years ago!

Who is Luang Por Phrom? He is a holy monk that resides in the Nakhon Sawan Province. Most of his life is spent ordained as a member of the Sangha and doing good while cultivating.

He passed away at the age of 91. That was more than 40 years ago. His body is currently housed in a glass coffin. The remarkable thing is that there are no signs of decay. None at all. Not only that, his nails and hairs are growing little by little every year! It is a widely known fact that he has since became an Arhat (he who gained insight into the true nature of existence and has achieved Nirvana).

There are TWO GENERAL MOULD VARIANTS:

1. Sangkati Yao (Long Robe Variant)
2. Sangkati Sarn (Short Robe Variant)

This featured piece is the “Sangkati Yao” Variant made of COPPER with a BLACK OXIDE PLATING.

Only 1,500 of such pieces were made making them incredibly rare!

The condition is nothing short of spectacular! Immaculately preserved with the original BLACK OXIDE PLATING showing an amazing patina that is naturally oxidized after coming in contact with atmospheric contents!Β

Due to the small size of this medallion, the image of Luang Por Phrom featured in the center of the medallion is more often damaged than not. The face of the image of as small as a tiny barley grain and most of the pieces that we have seen circulating the market are badly damaged with the facial features literally indistinguishable!

BUT NOT THIS PIECE! The facial features, eyes, nose and mouth are CLEARLY DISTINCTIVE! An amazing rarity for this particular batch of medallions!

INCREDIBLY COLLECTIBLE and an evergreen of this industry!

This is definitely not a easy encounter to be able to have the opportunity to acquire such a near flawless piece by one of the most prominent holy monks of Thailand yet priced very reasonably!

INCLUSIVE OF A CUSTOM MADE SOLID GOLD OPEN/CLOSE CASING!
