This is another SOLID GOLD amulet, in our humble opinion, is one of the most undervalued pieces in the entire collection of Luang Por Kasem’s amulets!
Known as Rian Chit “Lang Singha Krob Rob Paet Sib Pee”, which translates to, Medallion with Singha at the Back ; 80th Year Old Birthday Celebration Batch.
Shaped as a bell and it is Luang Por Kasem’s most iconic shape to be used in his amulets. When asked why did Luang Por kasem made this batch of medallions at such a unusual shape.. Luang Por Kasem replied that he wishes that with the blessing of the medallion he has consecrated, the bearer would be as “DANG” *(literally translated as loud in Thai but also has the meaning of popular/successful) as the Bell (Rakang) of the temple!
The back of this beautiful SOLID GOLD medallion features something very special and it not frequently found on Luang Por Kasem’s amulets. It features the image of a Singha at the back.
The “SINGHA” is a Thai mythical creature that been a part of Thailand’s culture and history. In actuality, it is a Mythical Creature regarded as King of the Jungle. It symbolically represents: Power, Courage and Strength!
