What you see featured here is Luang Pu Tim’s top tiered medallion across all the different types of medallions made throughout his lifetime.

Made in commemoration and celebration of Luang Pu Tim’s “7th Cycle” (84th Year Old Birthday) in Year 2540 B.E. (1997 A.D.).

Celebratory batches like this are very important pieces as they are made to commemorate important events in the holy monk’s lifetime. This celebratory pieces are very compelling pieces for any learned collectors to collect.

 

Known as Rian “Channa Jhon” which translates literally to “Medallion of Overcoming Poverty”.

Blessed by Luang Pu Tim of Wat Phra Kao, Ayutthaya in Year 2540 B.E. (1977 A.D.) and there were a few different types of material variants made:

1. SOLID GOLD – 84 pieces made in the world

2. SILVER – 1,077 pieces made in the world

3. SILVER w/ COLORED ENAMEL – 2,923 pieces made in the world

4. LEAD – 10,000 pieces made in the world

5. COPPER – 23,000 pieces made in the world

This featured piece is made in SILVER with DEEP BLUE ENAMEL with only 2,923 pieces made in the world.

However, it is important to note that the “SILVER with COLORED ENAMEL” variants have a total of 5 different COLORED ENAMEL variants:

1. DEEP BLUE
2. RED
3. YELLOW
4. GREEN
5. LIGHT BLUE

The entire 2,923 pieces made are split into the the 5 different colored variants which reflects to approximately less than 600 pieces made per colored variant. Making it one of the rarest variants of the entire batch.

Eagle eyed individuals will notice a “hand written yant” on the back of the medallion. That, is what makes this piece, even more special than what is already is! Every single yantra was hand written by none other than Luang Pu Tim himself.

Every single piece is hallmarked with a serial number and this piece is no exception.
