The iconic design reflects the evergreen features of a Wat Pak Nam amulet that was made famous by one of the most well known and revered holy monk of Thailand, Luang Por Sodh.
It properly depicts Lord Buddha in a seated position reciting the 3 Jewels of Buddhism: Buddha, Dharma & Sangha.
Blessed in a mass consecrated grand ceremony in Year 2534 B.E. (1991 A.D.)
There are a total of a few material variants made:
1. SOLID GOLD
2. SILVER
3. NAWALOHA
This featured piece is large mould and it is the TOP TIERED AND RAREST SOLID GOLD VARIANT of the entire batch.
Like many other well known temples, amulets are made for various charitable causes and this particular batch was not an exception. It was made for a specific and noble cause:
Procurement of the Land for the expansion of the temple, hence the name: Sie Ti Din Tawai Batch.
Through the proceeds of this particular batch of amulets made, the temple is able to procure neighboring parcels of land to expand the temple grounds to what it is today.
In my most unbiased and humble opinion, this beautiful piece has one of the most timeless and elegant feature of Lord Buddha. The amazing and distinctive features on the amulet truly sets itself apart from many other contemporaries.
Condition of this beautiful solid gold amulet is truly beyond excellent!
