This featured piece is the official “post Somdej Toh” 1st Issue Phra Somdej to be distributed from Wat Mai Amataros Bangkhunphrom. Known among collectors as Phra Somdej Soon Kao (Phra Somdej 09) in reference to the year it was distributed. There were many variants made and this particular piece is known as Pim Yai Kaet Taluk Soom “A” and it is the most sought after top tiered variant of the entire batch!
