There are also may strands of “Gae-Sah” found scattered all over the surface of the amulet.
“Gae-Sah” is a term referring to the hair that has been collected from the monk, and in this instance, Luang Por Pae, during the routine shaving of their hair. The many strands of hair that were collected will not be disposed of, instead they will be kept as holy belongings of a holy being. On many occasions, the “Gae-Sah” will be mixed as one of the materials used in creating an amulet.
Intricate pieces of small gold flakes are also found all over the surface making it a truly beautiful visual spectacle!
The condition of this particular piece is nothing short of spectacular! Definitely not an everyday occurrence to encounter such a beautifully preserved piece that has a history of more than half a century!
An approximate of 2,000 pieces were made but it is known to be lesser as the powder used in creating the amulet is highly fragile resulting in a significant percentage of amulets that are defective and damaged.
It cannot be denied that evergreen amulets of such amazing condition are getting increasingly difficult to encounter
