When thai amulets and the Suphanburi province are referenced to, the holy monk:
Luang Por Niam would be immediately thought of due it his immense historical significance.
He ordained as a monk at Wat Rakang Kositaram, under the pupillage of Somdej Ajahn Toh. He learnt greatly from him and returned to Suphanburi and became the abbot of Wat Noi, an abandoned temple which later become the one of Suphanburi’s top temples.
Fact: Did you know he was the teacher of Luang Por Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho?
Legend recorded by Suphanburi Historians has it that Luang Por Niam’s amulets are sacred objects the greatly protects the bearer.
It was said that he who bears Luang Por Niam’s amulets would never lose a single drop of blood.
The only recorded photo of Luang Por Niam was taken during his final moments, in a reclining position, much like Lord Buddha’s moment of passing to enter Nirvana.
This beautiful item is made of Lead (Ner Takua) and subsequently excavated from a Pagoda.
The texture on the surface is the result of a coating from different types of elements
within the Pagoda before its excavation.
In terms of cast Buddha Images by Luang Por Niam, this is the absolute top tiered variant.
Condition is unbelievably pristine. Even the facial features are highly visible, which is an extreme rarity.
