VERY RARE SILVER VARIANT! ONLY APPROX. 500 PIECES MADE IN THE WORLD!

Known as Phra Pidta Chin Ootamo and it was blessed in Year 2518 B.E. (1975 A.D.) by Luang Pu Waen of Wat Doi Mae Pang, Chiang Mai.

There are a total of 3 material variants made:

1. SOLID GOLD – Approximately 9 pieces made in the world
2. SILVER – Approximately 500 pieces made in the world
3. NAWALOHA – Approximately 2,000 pieces made in the world

This featured piece is made of NAWALOHA! Amazing condition that has the natural aging on the entire facade of the amulet. And almost faultless casted which is highly uncommon.

To understand this, we must first comprehend how was the item made more than 40 years ago.

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies.

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To find one piece as this item featured here, in such an immaculate condition, is of incomprehensible difficulty. Noticed the even texture found on the surface? It is a typical example of sheer luck with the right amount of molten gold being filled in the cast thus preventing bubbles from forming on the surface of the amulet!

Luang Pu Waen is know as “The monk who meditates in the sky”..

Ordained as a novice monk since the age of 9, Luang Pu Waen lived most of his life as a highly cultivated holy monk, whom many believed to have attained the state of an Arahant. He passed away in Year 2528 B.E. (1985 A.D.) after approximately 90 years of monkhood.

Living in rural Chiang Mai, though exceptionally well known among locals, fame was never something pursued by Luang Pu Waen.

However, as fate would have it, he was spotted meditating in the sky by a Royal Thai Airforce pilot while flying his aircraft over Doi Mae Pang, Chiang Mai and it propelled Luang Pu Waen to be one of the most recognized holy monks of Thailand.

Highly recommended for any collectors looking to acquire a high quality amulet with great history yet at a very reasonable price point. We cannot emphasize how undervalued it is and how amazingly collectible it is.

INCLUSIVE OF A CUSTOM MADE SOLID GOLD FRAMING!
