Phra Luang Pu Thuad (Toon Klao Batch) – Mass Consecrated – Year 2530 B.E. (1st Prize Award Winner)

In the Thai Buddhist/Amulet community, most, if not all will agree that Luang Pu Thuad is synonymous with the industry.

The rich history of LP Thuad is documented even an ancient Royal Decrees. It is, without a doubt, one the most important and highly respected monks in the history of Thailand!

Amulets depicting LP Thuad images are frequently associated with the countless documented miracles about people escaping injury or even death in unimaginable scenarios.

In Year 2530 B.E. (1987 A.D.), Mr. Sawasdi Chotipanich, the then Secretary of the Minister of Justice, together with the committee and the people of Betong, Yala, agreed to renovate Luang Pu Thuad’s Wihan (Main Shrine) and Ubosot (Ordination Hall) of Wat Phutta Thiwat in celebration of King Rama IX 60th Birthday.

For the above mentioned purpose, Mr. Sawasdi Chotipanich and the committee arranged for the casting of Luang Pu Thuad images.

Only 2,500 pieces were ever made, and it is crafted by one of the finest craftsman in its era. Blessed in one of grandest ceremonies whereby numerous highly cultivated monks were present, presided by the Supreme Patriarch!

The materials used to cast these amulets, namely the GOLD, SILVER AND COPPER plates, were from many highly cultivated and famous holy monks from almost every part of Thailand.

Every cast image is embedded with the herbs and holy materials of Year 2497 B.E. Luang Pu Thuad.

Condition is absolutely stunning! Almost flawless! It is so well kept that the natural oxidation of the texture has transformed it into a unique iridescent hue the encompasses the entire surface of the item!
