ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER CONTEMPORARY LUANG PU THUAD IMAGE!

The story of Luang Pu Thuad is inseparable from the spiritual landscape of Thailand. Revered across generations, his legacy is so profound that it has been documented even in ancient Royal Decrees. Recognized as one of the most important and respected monks in Thai history, Luang Pu Thuad and his amulets are symbolic of supreme protection, widely believed to offer miraculous escape from harm and danger.

Itโ€™s often said in Thai culture that undertakers have never seen a deceased wearing a Luang Pu Thuad amulet at an accident site.. A testament to the faith and countless stories of divine protection associated with his image. So widespread is his renown that even those unfamiliar with amulets know his name, underscoring his enduring influence more than 400 years after his time.

This particular batch was made to celebrate Queen Sirikitโ€™s 60th birthday (12 August 2535 B.E.), this reverence was immortalized in a monumental gesture of faith. Mr. Sawasdi Chotiphanich, then President of the Supreme Court, together with his family and the Buddhist community of Southern Thailand, spearheaded the construction of Phra Mahathatu Chedi Phra Buddhadhamma Prakas at Wat Buddhadhivas in Amphoe Betong, Yala. This sacred structure was envisioned as a place of worship and celebration, honoring the Queen and uniting devotees under a grand spiritual edifice.

Construction was set atop a hill where the foundation of a previous stupa had been laid in 2512 B.E. by Somdet Phra Sri Nagarindra, mother of the King. Architect M.R. Mitrarun Kasemsri designed a new model of the Phra Mahathatu Chedi based on Sri Vijaya architecture, standing 69 meters tall and surrounded by four smaller stupas. Within it lies a small stupa enshrining sacred Buddha relics.

In alignment with this sacred endeavor, Mr. Sawasdi Chotiphanich received permission from the abbot of Wat Chang Hai, Pattani, to reproduce one of the most beautiful and lifelike cast images of Luang Pu Thuad. This particular batch is highly sought after by collectors worldwide for its intricate detail.. From the wrinkles on his face to the veins on his arms.. Each cast image is a masterpiece embedded with sacred herbs and materials originally used in the famed 2497 B.E. batch, blessed by Ajahn Tim, the first monk to create Luang Pu Thuad amulets.

Her Majesty the Queen personally contributed 200,000 baht toward the construction and named the stupa Phra Mahathatu Chedi Phra Buddhadhamma Prakas, meaning โ€œThe Buddha Proclaimed Dharma.โ€ The Queen later presided over the final ceremony on 14 October 2536 B.E., personally placing Buddha relics into the inner stupa and raising the royal parasol.

This fusion of sacred architecture and the spiritual legacy of Luang Pu Thuad continues to inspire faith among Buddhists across Thailand and the world. It serves as a powerful reminder of Thailandโ€™s rich spiritual heritage.. Where devotion, craftsmanship, and royal patronage intertwine to create living monuments of faith.

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies.ย

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

The condition is spectacular with every single detail fully casted in a near perfect and flawless casting!

We cannot emphasize how extremely collectible this particular piece is! It is definitely not a frequent occurrence to encounter a SOLID GOLD variant of this highly important batch of casted images!

Collecting a SOLID GOLD amulet made by great holy monks from well known temples is like having the best of both worlds!

Not only are they well blessed with high spiritual value.. an amulet made of SOLID GOLD further cements its position as the most sought after variant of the amulet with the highest collectorโ€™s value as they are mostly made in extremely limited numbers due to the high cost involved in producing an amulet made in SOLID GOLD!

INCLUSIVE OF A CUSTOM MADE SOLID GOLD FRAMING!
