Many would assume that Phra Ajahn Nong was the disciple of Phra Ajahn Tim of Wat Chang Hai. That is actually incorrect.

Instead, they are renowned members of the Sangha and effectively learnt from one another during their monk-hood.

Did you know that Ajahn Nong was instrumental in the creation of the TOP TIERED ultra-expensive Luang Pu Thuad Year 2497 B.E.? It was said that both monks visited Bangkok seeking for methods of creating the 1st Batch of LP Thuad 2497, but because of the lack of funding, they returned back to Pattani and created it using primitive means and materials!

Hence, the uncanny similarities between the LP Thuad of Year 2497 B.E. and the LP Thuad of Year 2514 B.E. Wat Sai Kao!

Both were effectively made using similar materials and methods. Village locals from where they were created affectionately coined them to be twins!

The piece featured today is a true beauty! One of the top tiered variant of the batch! Highly sought after with absolutely no signs of wear and damage!

Out of the two important variants of the hand-made hand-mould variant, this featured item is known to have a distinctive facial feature known as Pim Nah Pi Nai Kam.

Every hand-made hand-mould variant of the LP Thuad 2514 has a sacred takrut inserted within. The takrut is known as Takrut Narai Plaeng Roop and it is known for its efficacy in escaping danger and harm as well as the protection against negative energies!
