Luang Pu Thuad himself and his amulets are synonymous to the Thai amulet industry. Even individuals whom are not interested in amulets have a high chance of hearing the name Luang Pu Thuad in their lives before!

This signifies the immense fame and reputation of the Legendary monk whom lived more than 400 years ago!

Known for its supreme protection and harm and danger, Luang Pu Thuad amulets are widely worn by people of all demographics. Countless miracles have been documented throughout the amulet’s history!

This beautiful amulet featured today is blessed by the preeminent monk of LP Thuad amulets, Ajahn Tim of Wat Chang Hai, Pattani. Made in Year 2505 B.E., it is the 1st batch of Luang Pu Thuad amulets to be made in the “Lang Tao Reet (Iron Back) shape!

They were divided into different variants/moulds but we will be focusing on the three most important variants/mould:

1. Pim Yai (Large Mould)
2. Pim Klang (Middle Mould)
3. Pim Lek (Small Mould)

This featured piece is the TOP TIERED variant of the entire Luang Pu Thuad Year 2505 B.E. “Lang Tao Reet” batch of amulets!
It is known as PIM YAI “A”!

Out of all the early batches of Luang Pu Thuad amulets to be made by Ajahn Tim of Wat Chang Hai, the Year 2505 B.E. “Lang Tao Reet” batch has to be the most iconic among all due to its distinctive shape and size!

The condition, as seen from the photos, is amazing, to say the least! The pristine texture is immaculately preserved and all important features are properly casted with minimal imperfections! For an amulet that is primitively casted more than half a century ago, it is absolutely magnificent and highly uncommon for an amulet to be that well made and kept!

There are, perhaps, no Luang Pu Thuad pieces to be as ICONIC as the “Lang Tao Reet” Pim Yai “A” variants in the market. Extremely, extremely collectible and unlike decades ago.. the opportunity to chance upon a pristine piece like this is no longer an easy task to fulfill.
