This featured piece is definitely not something you would encounter often. In our decades of experience in this industry, we have only chanced upon a handful of such magnificently rare pieces and even fewer of such excellent condition pieces!

This particular amulet features the image of the Medicine Buddha and it was the 1st occasion that a Phra Kring amulet was made by Luang Pu Tohk! Blessed in Year 2515 B.E. (1972 A.D.) and it was made to raise funds for the renovation of Wat Pradu Chim Plee.

A total of 500 pieces were made and they were differentiated into TWO different variants identified by the code that was hallmarked at the bottom of the amulet:

1. Sib Hok Chek ( “16” code variant ) – 300 pieces made
2. Kao Chek ( “9” code variant) – 200 pieces made

The entire 500 pieces made were casted using very primitive techniques hence the characteristics of the Phra Kring does not have very clear and distinct features.

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies. 

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

What you see here is the TOP PERCENTILE of aesthetic perfection for this particular batch of Phra Kring amulets! This featured piece is near flawlessly casted with a “more visible than usual” facial features! The entire surface texture is also casted completely resulting in a very clean and uniform surface!

ONLY A MINOR PERCENTAGE OF PIECES ARE FOUND IN SUCH PRISTINE AND EXCELLENT CONDITION!

The overall texture is immaculately preserved! The entire piece glimmers of a reddish iridescent hue found scattered through the entire amulet! Such a texture can only be present after decades of natural oxidation!

With only 300 of such specimens made, and only an astoundingly minor percentage of the 300 pieces made are found in such amazingly pristine condition, it is a piece we recommend greatly!
