In most most humble opinion, this featured set of amulet is one of the best batch of amulets made by Luang Por Kasem.

Blessed in a grand ceremony in Year 2527 B.E. and it is known as Phra Chai Wat “Song Nam”. The word “Song Nam” literally translates to “cleanse” and it is important to note that this particular batch of amulets were made in commemoration of the annual bathing ritual of Luang Por Kasem.

Known as one of the most respected holy monks of the Northern Provinces of Thailand. Luang Por Kasem always abides to strict cultivation to attain enlightenment. He famously quoted that a monk needs nothing but his saffron robes and his alms bowl.

Born as a member of a royal bloodline of the Lampang’s royal family running in his veins, he gave up all material comforts for the sake of his cultivation and assistance to others.

This batch of amulets were made with hand written takruts by at least 70 different top holy monks of the generation.

This particular batch of Phra Kring and Phra Chai Wat amulets were distributed as a set from the temple itself.

There were a total of 3 different material variants:

1. SOLID GOLD – 72 sets made in the world
2. SILVER – 199 sets made in the world
3. NAWALOHA – 999 sets made in the world

These two featured pieces are made of SILVER and there were only 199 sets made in the world! Every piece is serialized with a number, and this piece is no exception!

The serial number is 138 out of 199 pieces.

It is of incredible difficulty to encounter an entire set of 2 pieces as most would’ve been split apart by different collectors many years ago! Many dealers would also prefer to split the set apart as to maximize their profits, hence it is highly unlikely to encounter a FULL SILVER SET anytime soon!

The condition is absolutely stunning! Extremely well casted for an amulet made of primitive casting methods! Almost flawless with all important details beautifully casted! SILVER pieces are widely known to have more irregularities in its overall features as compared to its more common NAWALOHA variants.

The nature of the primitive method, used to cast these images around half a century ago, also meant that many of the pieces are found with incomplete features. These incomplete pieces represent a majority percentage of the entire 199 sets made. Only a minority percentage of pieces managed to be casted with complete features!

This particular piece is flawlessly casted with COMPLETE FEATURES! The texture is also magnificently preserved that a beautifully aged texture is found scattered throughout the entire surface of the cast image!

An extremely worthwhile batch to collect and we recommend it greatly!
