This particular batch of Luang Por Sothorn amulets remains one of the most prominent and widely recognised contemporary issues associated with Luang Por Sothorn, despite being created only in the modern era. Over the years, it has firmly established itself as one of the definitive “must-have” pieces within the collections of many advanced and long-established collectors throughout Thailand.
Created in B.E. 2538 (1995 A.D.), this important batch was spearheaded by the late Police General Poj Boonyachinda with an especially meaningful objective: to allow both police officers and the general public the opportunity to participate in merit-making through the acquisition of amulets blessed by 108 holy monks and presided by the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, Somdej Sangkaraj Yannasangwon, while directing all proceeds towards supporting the welfare and well-being of officers within the Royal Thai Police in celebration of its 80th Anniversary.
