Blessed in a grand ceremony in year 2518 BE (1975 AD)! The images depicts one of the most well-known bodhisattvas of Buddhism, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion! Arguably and in my opinion, the most beautiful cast amulet made by LP Kasem!

The condition of this stunning item is nothing short of immaculate!
To understand this, we must first comprehend how was the item made 45 years ago.

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies. 

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making many pieces having an uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To find one piece as this item featured here, in such an immaculate condition, is of incomprehensible difficulty. Noticed the beautiful texture and highly distinctive features? It is a typical example of sheer luck with the right amount of molten silver being filled in the cast thus preventing bubbles from forming on the surface of the amulet!

Fun Fact: There is a group of *ultra-wealthy* individuals that are avid enthusiasts. They frequently organize their own by invitation only competition to showcase their collection of tip top quality amulets within their private club.
