What we present today is far from an ordinary piece by Luang Por Kasem.
This exceptionally rare specimen belongs to one of Luang Por Kasem’s most highly sought-after lamulets.. the Phra Chai Wat “Borromchu Gae-Sah” Batch.
Documented to have been spearheaded by Ajahn Thong Chai together with the committee members of Wat Traimit Withayaram, this important batch was created with the noble objective of raising funds for various charitable foundations and humanitarian causes.
The term “Borromchu Gae-Sah” is literally translated as “Embedding Holy Relic”. Referring specifically, in this instance, to the sacred “Gae-Sah” of Luang Por Kasem himself.
Among the many amulet issues associated with Luang Por Kasem, this batch holds special significance as it is one of the very few documented examples where the sacred relics of Luang Por Kasem were embedded directly into a SOLID GOLD Phra Chai Wat.
The term “Gae-Sah” refers to strands of hair collected from a monk during the traditional ritual shaving process. Within Buddhist tradition, such relics are regarded with deep reverence and are never casually discarded. Instead, they are carefully preserved as sacred remnants associated with highly cultivated monks and holy beings. On select and important occasions, these holy relics are incorporated into the creation of amulets, further elevating their spiritual and historical significance.
The inclusion of Luang Por Kasem’s sacred Gae-Sah within this particular batch places it in an exceptionally important category among collectors and devotees alike.
