Not the most expensive but definitely one of the rarest post Year 2500 B.E. (1957 A.D.) amulet of Luang Por Sothorn in the market.

The image of Luang Por Sothorn is one of the most revered Buddha Images in the entire country of Thailand. History of the image dates back to centuries ago in the Kingdom of Ayutthaya. It is one of the Buddha Images that survived the invasion of the Burmese and was found to be floating down the Ping River, one of the two main tributaries of the Chao Phraya River.
This particular piece is made in Year 2505 B.E. (1962 A.D.) and blessed in a very grand consecration ceremony with many top tiered holy monks participating to bless the batch of amulets.
The condition is near flawless for an amulet that has almost 60 years of history!
