This featured medallion is the NUMBER ONE MEDALLION of Luang Por Yaem Wat Sam Ngam, the famed disciple of Luang Por Tae Wat Sam Ngam.

This batch of medallions were made in commemoration of Luang Por Yaem’s 5th Cycle (60th Birthday) and it is known as “Har Rob”.

The term “Har Rob” translates to “Fifth Cycle”. Each cycle is 12 years, and it is a significant milestone in Thai Buddhism Culture.

Blessed by two great holy monks of Nakhon Pathom: Luang Por Tae and Luang Por Yaem.

Amazing condition with all features immaculately preserved.

What is notable about this batch is that all hand written yantra seen on the the medallions are documented to be hand inscripted by Luang Por Yaem himself.

Luang Por Tae is a holy monk that needs no formal introduction. Being one of the most well known and well recognized holy monk, not just in his local province of Nakhon Pathom, but all over Thailand and beyond.

There are a total of 3 general material variants made:

The condition of this piece is stunning, to say the least!

To understand how beautiful it is.. We must know that amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies.

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To come across a piece that is FULLY CASTED with little to no flaws is an incredibly difficult occurrence!

Phra Sangkachai is known as Kātyāyana or Mahākātyāyana and was one of the TEN principal disciples of Lord Buddha himself.

According to history and ancient texts, Buddha praised Phra Sangkachai for his excellence in explaining sophisticated concepts of the Dharma in an easily and correctly understandable manner. Phra Sangkachai is also known for composing the Madhupindika Sutta.

It’s difficult to articulate how incredibly rare this featured piece is.. A true gem of a treasure!

It is never an easy task to find a SOLID GOLD amulet, and definitely more challenging for a SOLID GOLD piece that was made more than 50 years ago.. and by one of the most well known holy monks of Thailand.

It may take us years and years to be able to chance upon a similar piece again.

This very special medallion is easily one of the most iconic and most recognized medallions to be blessed by Luang Por Tae, one of the top tiered Holy Monks of Thailand!

Luang Por Tae of Wat Sam Ngam, Nakhon Pathom, is one of the preeminent holy monks of Nakhon Pathom. Luang Por Tae was the disciple of two TOP HOLY MONKS OF THAILAND, Luang Pu Tah, Wat Paniang Tack and Luang Por Cham, Wat Ta Kong.

This particular medallion is known as “Rian Talarb Yah Mong” and it literally translates to “Medicated Ointment Medallion”.

Such a name was coined because after the creation of the medallions, Luang Por Tae, along with the temple committee members scrambled to source for plastic casings to be the housing of the medallions made. It was by chance when they realized that used medicated ointment containers fit the medallions perfectly, hence it was distributed from the temple in such a way. Housed in a plastic medicated ointment container with a transparent top and the red colored base.

The history of Khun Paen dates back to centuries ago in the ancient city of Ayutthaya. A fierce warrior known for victories and charisma on the battlefields.

There are a lot of misconceptions due to media portrayals and exaggerated stories which usually isn’t true.

Fundamentally, people worship Khun Paen as a deity for his victorious nature and charismatic traits exemplified on battlefields similar to how the world views mythological Greek Warriors such as Achilles and Perseus.

Made of a traditional method using baked clay in Year 2503 B.E. (1960 A.D.).

This beautiful item is blessed by Luang Por Tae, a holy monk whom resided in the Nakhon Pathom Province.
He was the disiciple of two great holy monks of the region, Luang Pu Tah and Luang Por Cham, whom he has learnt greatly from.

For an item that has almost 60 years of history, this amulet looks absolutely amazing. Condition is wonderfully undamaged with all important features immaculately preserved.

Am excellent piece for daily wear due to its highly efficacious history and also an excellent piece to be collected due to its rarity and the difficulty involved to encounter a stunning piece as such!

This featured SOLID GOLD medallion is perhaps one of VERY FEW, or quite possibly the ONLY piece available to be acquired at this current juncture!

The front of the medallion features the image of Luang Por Tae and the back of the medallion features the image of “Nang Kwak”, the Goddess of Wealth.

Nang Kwak is represented as a beautiful woman wearing a traditional Thai Styled outfit. She also wears a golden crown on her head and is in the sitting or kneeling position. Her right hand is raised in the Thai way of beckoning a customer, with the palm of the hand curved and pointing downwards. Her left hand is resting on her side or holds a bag full of gold near her lap.

The present iconographic figure of Nang Kwak is an incarnation of Mae Po Sop, the Siamese rice goddess. The iconography of Nang Kwak is based in the Hindu goddess Sri Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity.

Nang Kwak is a widely revered deity. She is deemed to bring luck, especially in the form of money, to the household. She is the patron Deity of all Merchants and Salesmen and can be seen in almost every business establishment in Thailand as well as many parts of the world.

This particular SOLID GOLD medallion was blessed by Luang Por Tae in Year 2512 B.E. (1969 A.D.). SOLID GOLD piece as this featured piece is extremely difficult to encounter due to a very small number of pieces made! To encounter a SOLID GOLD piece as such is of unimaginable difficulty and we cannot be happier to be able to showcase it to everyone!
