IMMACULATELY PRESERVED TEXTURE WITH NO SIGNS OF WEAR OR DAMAGE!

What you see here is quite literally, “THE TOP OF SUPHANBURI”.

An extremely rare piece that is not easily encountered! It is ONE OF ONLY TWO PIECES we have ever encountered!

Due to the amazing historical value of this item, most pieces found circulating the market, even if its genuine, are usually in a deplorable condition as most of them were worn by devotees decades and sustained damage, sweat marks, grime and dirt.

This beautiful piece we are showcasing is in it’s most original condition! The texture is immaculate without any hints of damage whatsoever! Due to the method of primitive casting, and the mixture of lead and mercury in the material, uneven and rough surfaces are one of its highly important characteristic and evidence of it’s TIP TOP condition! Pieces that are worn and damaged usually have a smooth surface due to the constant friction over the decades that has occurred on the surface of the amulet.

This featured piece is without a doubt, in a CLASS OF ITS OWN and the TRUE CREAM OF THE CROP!

When asked about who is the TOP TIERED holy monk in the province of Suphanburi.. Any learned collector or veteran will immediately reference to Luang Por Niam of Wat Noi, Suphanburi!

According to historical records, Luang Por Niam studied Dharma as a monk at Wat Rakang Kositaram, under the pupillage of Somdej Ajahn Toh. He learnt greatly from him and returned to Suphanburi and became the abbot of Wat Noi, an abandoned temple which later become the one of Suphanburi’s most prominent temples!

He was the teacher to many great and holy monks, and two notable ones were: Luang Por Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho, Ayutthaya and Luang Por Nhong of Wat Klong Ma Dahn, Suphanburi. These two holy monks mentioned, who studied under the pupillage of Luang Por Niam were one of the TOP TIERED and MOST WELL KNOWN Holy Monks of the entire industry!

Legend recorded by Suphanburi Historians has it that Luang Por Niam’s amulets are sacred objects the greatly protects the bearer. So much so that legends of impregnability were widespread throughout the lands. Legend has it that he who bears Luang Por Niam’s amulets would never lose a single drop of blood.

One of only two recorded photos of Luang Por Niam was taken during his final moments, in a reclining position, much like Lord Buddha’s moment of passing to enter Nirvana according to Buddhist Text.

He ordained as a monk at Wat Rakang Kositaram, under the pupillage of Somdej Ajahn Toh. He learnt greatly from him and returned to Suphanburi and became the abbot of Wat Noi, an abandoned temple which later become the one of Suphanburi’s top temples.
