This particular batch of Phra Pidta amulets are notoriously known for an incomplete casting with flaws found all over the amulet.. But this here, is one of the extreme minority exceptions! Near perfect with complete features!

Blessed by Luang Por Kasem and he is known as one of the most respected holy monks of the Northern Provinces of Thailand. Luang Por Kasem always abides to strict cultivation to attain enlightenment. He famously quoted that a monk needs nothing but his saffron robes and his alms bowl.

Born as a member of a royal bloodline of the Lampang’s royal family running in his veins, he gave up all material comforts for the sake of his cultivation and assistance to others!

It can be broken down into 2 very simple reasons:

The size of the amulet is small, thus making it difficult to cast during its moulding process. The difficulty resulted in many pieces damaged. Beautiful pieces as this item featured is difficult to come by. The name of the amulet is also highly favored among collectors and bearers alike. It represents abundance and prosperity thus making it very sought after.
The amazing name, “Sarapadee”, which was bestowed by Luang Por Kasem himself. To signify “Universal Prosperity” that will encompasses all aspects of the bearer’s life and destiny.

It was made for the troops of the Air Force to allow them to be blessed with great protection and to
protect them from danger and overall negativity.

The SOLID GOLD variants were distributed to the top officers within the Air Force and was supposedly given
as a diplomatic gift to high ranking foreign officials. Made in Year 2536 B.E., and it was blessed in

This featured piece is one of the most important cast amulets made by Luang Por Kasem!

Luang Por Kasem is known as one of the most respected holy monks of the Northern Provinces of Thailand. Luang Por Kasem always abides to strict cultivation to attain enlightenment. He famously quoted that a monk needs nothing but his saffron robes and his alms bowl.

Born as a descendant of Lampang’s royal family, he has blood of royalty running in his veins yet he gave up all material comforts for the sake of his cultivation and assistance to others.

This beautiful cast image is arguably and in my opinion, the most beautiful cast amulet made by Luang Por Kasem! Condition is excellent and original with all important features beautifully casted. Due to the nature of the primitive method used to cast these images around half a century ago, many of the pieces are found with incomplete features. These incomplete pieces represent a majority percentage of the entire 999 pieces made. Only a minority percentage of pieces managed to be casted with complete features!

This particular piece is flawlessly casted with COMPLETE FEATURES! The texture is also magnificently preserved with no signs of wear or damage!

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies.

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To find one piece as this item featured here, in such an immaculate condition, is of incomprehensible difficulty. Noticed the stunningly intricate details found throughout this beautiful piece? It is a typical example of sheer luck with the right amount of molten alloy being filled in the cast to have COMPLETE FEATURES and also preventing bubbles from forming on the surface of the amulet!

Blessed in a grand ceremony in year 2518 B.E. (1975 A.D.)! The images depicts one of the most well-known bodhisattvas of Buddhism, Avalokitesvara, also known as the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion!

In Buddhism, Avalokitesvara s a bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. He has 108 avatars; one notable avatar being Padmapani, the one who holds the lotus. This bodhisattva is variably depicted, described and portrayed in different cultures as either male or female. In China, Taiwan and other Chinese communities, Avalokiteśvara has evolved into the somewhat different female figure Guan Yin or Guan Shi Yin, also known as Kannon in Japan.

Only 999 pieces of such specimens were ever made. It is truly a rare and iconic piece! Highly regarded and sought after in the eyes of countless collectors all over the world!

There will be no argument to say that this particular batch of Year 2518 B.E. 1st Issue piece is the TOP TIERED Phra Kring Awalow/Avalokitesvara image in the entire Thai Amulet industry!

What we present today is far from an ordinary piece by Luang Por Kasem.

This exceptionally rare specimen belongs to one of Luang Por Kasem’s most highly sought-after lamulets.. the Phra Chai Wat “Borromchu Gae-Sah” Batch.

Documented to have been spearheaded by Ajahn Thong Chai together with the committee members of Wat Traimit Withayaram, this important batch was created with the noble objective of raising funds for various charitable foundations and humanitarian causes.

The term “Borromchu Gae-Sah” is literally translated as “Embedding Holy Relic”. Referring specifically, in this instance, to the sacred “Gae-Sah” of Luang Por Kasem himself.

Among the many amulet issues associated with Luang Por Kasem, this batch holds special significance as it is one of the very few documented examples where the sacred relics of Luang Por Kasem were embedded directly into a SOLID GOLD Phra Chai Wat.

The term “Gae-Sah” refers to strands of hair collected from a monk during the traditional ritual shaving process. Within Buddhist tradition, such relics are regarded with deep reverence and are never casually discarded. Instead, they are carefully preserved as sacred remnants associated with highly cultivated monks and holy beings. On select and important occasions, these holy relics are incorporated into the creation of amulets, further elevating their spiritual and historical significance.

This featured piece is known as Rian Har Rob, and it was officially the 1st issue amulet made by Luang Por Kasem at the place he resides in, Susarn Thailart, Lampang. It was made in commemoration of Luang Por Kasem’s 60th Birthday.

The term “Har Rob” translates to “Fifth Cycle”. Each cycle is 12 years, and it is a significant milestone in Thai Buddhism Culture.

They were differentiated into two different mould variants:

1. Blok Niyom (Popular Mould)
2. Blok Tamada (Conventional Mould)

This is the “Blok Tamada” variant.

Among the entire collection of Luang Por Kasem’s medallions made throughout his lifetime, this particular batch of amulets, known as “Har Rob” is easily one of the most significant and one of the most recognized batches made!

Only one material variant was used and it is made of COPPER with a Black Oxide Plating.

The overall black oxide texture is AMAZINGLY WELL PRESERVED! The overall black oxide texture is very well preserved! Very well kept and its an uncommon encounter!

Highly, highly undervalued in our opinion! This is the TOP TIERED “Copper Made” medallion blessed by Luang Por Kasem in the entire collection! When the 1st Issue Cast Image of Luang Por Kasem was released in Year 2518 B.E., they were fully distributed within a single day.

This happened for a few excellent reasons:

1. The consecrated ceremony was very grand. It was blessed alongside two top tiered variants:
Phra Kring Awalow 1st Issue and Phra Pidta Sarapadee.

2. Funds were raised for a sole purpose, the construction of roads to the Shrine of Chao Mae Suchada. Also known as Lampang’s Holy Mother whom many locals pay respect to her for the merits she has made to the province during her lifetime many years ago.

3. Very exquisitely crafted. It was crafted by the top craftsman of the era and bears uncanny resemblance to Luang Por Kasem himself.

Only 2,518 pieces of such pieces were made in NAWALOHA with the insignia of the Rat, which is his most sought after variant! This variant is pronounced as Koan Noo in Thai.

For the 1st Issue Cast Image of Luang Por Kasem made in NAWALOHA, there are two variants:

1. Koan Noo (Rat Insignia) – 2,518 pieces made
2. Koan Dok Chan (Flower Insignia) – 500 pieces made

Despite having more pieces made, it is not without reason why the Koan Noo variant is the most sought after variant.
As written on earlier, the pieces were fully distributed from the temple within a single day, and many locals who came all the way looking to acquire a piece were left disappointed.

Thus, an additional 500 pieces were made, but given a different insignia was hallmarked at the bottom of the amulet to differentiate between the remade pieces and the original pieces.

Hence, the Koan Noo variant is more widely sought after which results in a much higher collector’s value!

To find one piece as this item featured here, in such an immaculate condition, is of incomprehensible difficulty.

The condition of this piece is exceptionally beautiful! One of the minority percentage of pieces to have a near flawless condition with all important details extremely well casted!
