Luang Pu Doo was a highly respected monk from the Ayutthaya Province and has learnt from many top tiered masters in Dharma. He was said to be a lecturer to many novices during their pilgrimages into the forests of Thailand.

This particular item is known as Rian Lor Phra Phrom Si Liam, which is translated to Casted Medallion of Phra Phrom Oblong Shaped.

It is one of the early batches of Phra Phrom by Luang Pu Doo. Highly sought after and extremely favored by collectors all over the world!

Luang Pu See was a highly respected monk from the Ayutthaya Province and has learnt from many top tiered masters in Dharma. He was a student of one of the most prominent masters of Thailand, Luang Pu Klan of Wat Prayatikaram. Luang Pu See also learnt greatly from Ajahn Heng Praiwan.

This particular item is known as Rian Lor Phra Phrom Si Nah and it is made of SILVER!

The condition of this beautiful piece is immaculate!
To understand this, we must first comprehend how was the item made more than 40 years ago.

Amulet as such, are casted using primitive casting methods that involved the pouring of molten alloy into casting mould which will then form the shape of the item. Due to the primitive nature of such casting methods, there are a lot of inconsistencies.

Air pressure which causes bubbling occurs during the casting process making most pieces having a rough and uneven surface with even some items missing important details thus effectively rendering the item “damaged during the casting process”.

To find one piece as this item featured here, in such an immaculate condition, is of incomprehensible difficulty. Noticed the smooth texture found on the surface? It is a typical example of sheer luck with the right amount of molten silver being filled in the cast thus preventing bubbles from forming on the surface of the amulet!

The back of the medallion features a beautiful “Hand Written Yant” by Luang Pu See!

Exceedingly rare and easily one of the top Phra Phrom amulets in the sphere of amulet collection!

Highly iconic and not an amulet anyone would chance upon easily.

It is a true blue connoisseur’s piece!

There are two mould variants for this particular batch of Phra Phrom amulets:

1. Pim Nah Lek (Small Facial Features)
2. Pim Nah Yai (Large Facial Features)

This particular item is known as Rian Phra Phrom Kao Larm Dhat Nah Lek, translating to a Medallion of Phra Phrom in a Rhombus Shape with Small Facial Features.

The medallions featuring the “Small Facial Features” are known as the “Pim Niyom” (Most Popular) variant among the entire batch. It has also lesser pieces made thus making it a medallion that is extremely rare and difficult to chance upon!

It was made in Year Approx. 2519 B.E. in commemoration of Luang Pu See 82nd Year Old Birthday! Only an approximate of 108 pieces were made in the world! Made of Silver and it is an absolutely stunning piece in person.

ONE OF THE TOP TIERED POST AJAHN TIM’S LP THUAD MEDALLIONS!

This featured piece is easily one of the most recognizable and important post Ajahn Tim’s Luang Pu Thuad medallion to be ever made.

Blessed by Luang Pu Doo of Wat Sakae in Year 2532 B.E., and it was known as Rian Luang Pu Thuad Roon “Perd Lok”.
The term “Perd Lok” translates literally to Open The World, and there is a reason why it is named so.

Luang Pu Doo stated to his disciples present in the consecration that the ceremony opened the pathway to three different worlds and was attended by Brahmas, Devas and Deities from their realms.

The 3 different worlds that were had their pathway opened up were:

1. Brahmaloka, the highest celestial world, abode of the Brahmas
2. Devaloka, realms of the Devas and Deities
3. Manusaloka, realms of Humans

Hence the name, “Perd Lok” (Open the World).

Blessed in two separate grand ceremonies, once in Wat Phuttaisawn and once in Wat Sakae.

Condition of the medallion is absolutely stunning with the overall texture exhibiting “Piu Fai” throughout the entire medallion!

The term “Piu Fah” literally translate to Fire Skin in English.

It is a chemical reaction that occurs when the alloy and the chemicals on the surface of the medallion comes into contact with the atmospheric components in the air which results in an absolutely unique iridescent/rainbow texture.

It is a natural oxidation process that takes decades to occur, and a prime evidence for industry veterans to properly ascertain that it is in the most original condition without signs of wear, damage or any types of human intervention.

Medallions that are worn, damaged, washed or refurbished will not exhibit naturally occurred textures like the item featured.
