Supposedly to be consecrated under the direction of King Naresuan The Great to commemorate his victory against the King of Burma! It was said that approximately 80,000 pieces were made and they were all placed inside the Stupa of Wat Bang Krang in Supanburi.
Amulets are placed in Stupas to commemorate significant historical events and it also serve as a time capsule for the future generations to be reminded of the important event that took place, as well as giving the future generation the opportunity to remind themselves of the continuity of Buddhism.
