ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT AND ICONIC AMULETS FROM NAKHON SI THAMMARAT!

Known as the “Rian Duang Dee” and it was mass consecrated in Year 2532 B.E. (1989 A.D.) by many holy monks from the Southern Provinces of Thailand, and most famously participated by Ajahn Khun Pan whom has learnt greatly from Wat Khao Orr (Wat Khao Aor) in the Southern Province of Phattalung.

It was created in commemoration of the establishment of the City Pillar Shrine (Sahn Lak Mueng) in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The name “Duang Dee” is literally translates to “good luck” and this is known as the Medallion of Good Luck in the industry.

There is a very popular account of this particular piece when it was being distributed from the temple more than 30 years ago.. A local from the Nakhon Si Thammarat province visited the City Pillar Shrine (Sahn lak Mueng) chanced upon Ajahn Khun Pan and asked him which is the piece he recommends him to acquire..?

Ajahn Khun Pan moved without hesitation and among ALL OF THE AMULETS AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME, picked up a Rian Duang Dee and said, this is the BEST OF ALL.

That moment along with the highly efficacious encounters and experience from many cemented the Rian Duang Dee to be one of the most sought after medallions in the entire collection of amulets from the City Pillar Shrine (Sahn Lak Mueng).

This featured piece is also known as the TOP TIERED VARIANT known as “BLOK THONG KAM”.

The condition of this beautiful medallion is excellent! Overall texture is extremely well preserved with a natural occurring oxidation resulting in a gleaming texture! Another important information is that this particular piece features the “Blok Niyom” (Popular Mould) variant.
